 PARENT ADVISORY MEETING The
next meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 13 at noon in the Jerene Barlow Auditorium. All parents and guardians are welcome
to share concerns and provide input. Juniors that remain proficient (above the 40th percentile) or improve
in the Reading, Math, and Science ITED scores would have the option to have off campus privileges during their study halls
and lunch periods in the fourth quarter or opt out of an additional semester test with teacher approval. The sophomores that remain proficient or improve in the Reading, Math, and Science ITED scores would be able
to opt out of an additional semester test with teacher approval. The freshmen
that remain proficient or improve in the Reading, Math, and Science ITED scores would be allowed library privileges during
their study halls in the fourth quarter or opt out of a semester test with teacher approval. ATTENDANCE POLICY FOR OPTING OUT OF SEMESTER TESTS WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR
THE SECOND SEMESTER! Students
that are have no more than 2 absences in any one class may opt out of a semester test with teacher approval.
8th Grade Academic Fair:
Thank you to all the 8th graders and parents that attended on March 18. You have now started the process of transitioning
to the high school. The next step is get classes scheduled for next fall.
2nd Quarter P-T Conferences Parent-Teacher
Conferences were held on Tuesday, November 17. Results of parents attending conferences are
listed here. A total of 9 post-secondary institutions were also present to share information with parents and students. 9th grade 48% 10th
grade 39% 11th grade 36% 12th grade 33% Total 39% 1st Semester attendance
67% 3rd Quarter P-T Conferences Feb. 18 The emphasis of the conferences
was to discuss previous ITED & MAP testing and prepare for the Winter ITED testing the third week of February. Grade
